Vitalia Solon Discovers the Heart of the Community During National Assisted Living Week

National Assisted Living Week is a special time when assisted living communities come alive with celebrations that bring residents together. It’s a chance to share stories, make memories, and enjoy events that show the strong bond among residents, caregivers, and families. This year, the theme is Season of Reflection. This week is important to our community to showcase how valued our residents and staff are and how much they impact the success of our community.

At Vitalia Solon, we are honoring residents’ lives and experiences by celebrating with a week-long journey through the decades. As the Resident Services Director, I am most excited about our 80s themed Happy Hour!

Taking the time to celebrate National Assisted Living Week is important. To me, Season of Reflection means a time to reflect on all the wonderful opportunities Assisted Living brings. For residents, it’s an opportunity to build relationships, join in events and programs, and try something new. For staff, it’s a time to serve community members and build relationships with fellow staff members and residents.

It’s not only a time to celebrate, but also an opportunity to appreciate the staff and volunteers who make assisted living communities what they are today! This week highlights the power of connections, memories, and the spirit of togetherness that makes every resident feel at home.
