Volunteers Enrich Lives of Residents

Volunteering in the Vitalia Solon Memory Care Neighborhood can be an incredibly rewarding experience. Our Neighborhood caters to individuals living with many different types of dementia. Volunteers play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. From providing companionship to participating in stimulating events, the opportunities for volunteers are both meaningful and endless. Let’s delve into the various types of events you, as a volunteer, can be a part of within our Memory Care Neighborhood.  

Our Neighborhood offers several volunteer opportunities. We welcome volunteers who bring their own unique gifts and talents to share with us. Residents engage in music, arts, crafts, and more. Volunteer shifts are available throughout the week and on weekends.

Volunteers provide residents with opportunities to experience, hear, and engage in various activities. This enhances their quality of life and fosters a sense of significance. Volunteering often leads to new learning experiences as well.

Volunteers benefit from realizing the difference they make in the lives of our older adults, who were once active members of the community. Despite their previous responsibilities, residents continue to enjoy life in this phase. Volunteering brings joy to the heart.
