With over 17 years of experience in professional kitchens, Chef Nicholas Gutendorf brings passion and pride to the table. Working alongside many great chefs through the years, Nick has always strived to satisfy the guest with every plate he puts in front of them. He found his desire for kitchens at a young age. At 15, Nick started washing dishes at a local pizzeria. He quickly moved on to cook, gaining knowledge and credit, and working his way to kitchen manager in fine dining for 8 years. After catering many large weddings and banquet events, Nick landed a job as culinary director at Vitalia Active Adult Community of Solon.
Residing in Aurora Shores with his family, living the lake life has always been his dream. Nick enjoys the outdoors, especially being on the water or riding his four-wheeler. He also reminisces his youth days as he coaches his son, Donovan, in baseball.
